Justin Kanter

Justin Kanter graduated cum laude from Tulane University in 2006, and earned his J.D. cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2010. 

At Washington University, Mr. Kanter served as an Associate Editor of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy and served as a research assistant to several professors, researching subjects ranging from employment law to tax law.  While in law school, Mr. Kanter gained experience at an international law firm, advising tax-exempt organizations on a variety of legal issues, including qualification for exempt status and avoiding the unrelated business income tax.

Mr. Kanter joined Gaido & Fintzen in 2011.  He represents clients in a wide variety of matters, as both a litigator and advisor.  He has represented clients before state and federal courts, arbitration panels and administrative agencies.  On the corporate side, Mr. Kanter has advised businesses and organizations on, among other things, entity formation, securing and maintaining tax-exempt status, sales tax, employment law, intellectual property and antitrust law.
